Job Summary:
As an HVAC Technician at CellSite Solutions, you play a pivotal role in safely installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The HVAC Technician will work on a crew and must have good interpersonal communication skills, as well as skills performing basic construction, electrical, and mechanical work.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Installation of new HVAC units, typically 3- and 5-ton units.
- Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.
- Inspect and troubleshoot problems with existing HVAC units.
- Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.
- Compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Travel is required.
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Ability to use power and hand tools.
- Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate HVAC systems.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience required.
- Apprentice, Journeyman, or Master License preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to work on HVAC units.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
