Our clinical team is seeking a full-time, 40 hour or 36 hour weekly, Clinical Phone Specialist at our Pediatric and Prenatal Clinic.


ECHO Community Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center that provides quality healthcare to include adult primary care, pediatric care, social work services, behavioral healthcare, prescription assistance, case management programming and dental care to all members of our community, including the insure, uninsured, under-insured and homeless.


We currently employ over 150 dedicated team members who truly embrace the mission of serving and making a difference in the lives of others in a positive, supportive and collaborative environment.


We serve a population of approximately 15,000 and provide various clinical and community outreach services at six full time clinics.

Job Summary


The Clinical Phone Specialist assumes responsibility and accountability for the patient incoming telephone calls. Duties include but are not limited to: telephone assessments, scheduling patients and collaborating with the clinical staff.

Requirements

  

  • Degree from an accredited nursing program, or a graduate of a state-certified CMA/RMA program.
  • Ability to work in team settings where lines of authority and job delineations overlap.
  • Concern for patient’s dignity and promotion of ECHC’s mission.
  • Ability to run Windows based programs and do basic typing.
  • Reliable means to get to work and to/from clinics sites, as needed to meet organizational goals.
