Nixco Plumbing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to lead and actively participate in the installation and repair of sewer, water, and storm lines for residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on, year-round role requiring expertise in operating heavy equipment and managing site utility installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a crew in the installation and repair of sewer, water, and storm lines.
- Operate backhoes, track hoes, skid loaders, and dump trucks with a focus on safety and equipment maintenance.
- Actively participate in construction tasks: clearing sites, laying pipes, installing fittings, and making necessary connections.
- Ensure projects are completed efficiently, on schedule, and to high-quality standards.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in plumbing utility work, with 1+ year in a leadership role.
- Working knowledge of grades, blueprints, and site layouts.
- Class A commercial driver's license preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (background, MVR, drug test).
- Strong understanding of excavation safety, including trenching, traffic control, and confined space procedures.
