Here’s what a Paraprofessional’s day looks like:
- Safety is our number one priority! Ensure each student's health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
- Work with small groups or one-on-one with children needing additional guidance, ensuring all learners are supported.
- Assist the lead teacher with implementing lesson plans, classroom management, and daily routines.
- Support children in developing positive behavior and conflict resolution skills through modeling and reinforcement strategies.
- Under the guidance of the lead teacher, assist in observing and documenting children’s progress and developmental milestones.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with teaching staff, families, and administrators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.

This job is for you if:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED (required); An associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree coursework in Early Childhood Education (highly preferred)
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with ages 2-6 in a classroom or childcare setting is required. Paraprofessional experience preferred.
- Have patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with young children.
- Are well-spoken and comfortable speaking with parents and caregivers
- Are a lifelong learner!

The pay rate for this role is $20/hr
Physical Demands:
The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
