Job Title: Finance & Accounting Manager 

FLSA Status: Exempt      

Location: Lehi/Corporate

Reports to: Director of Accounting     


General Summary: Manages the Commissions team. Is responsible for supporting the Director of Accounting in providing Budgets, commissions, and Treasury functions. The individual needs to have a diverse set of skills ranging from FP&A to Accounting. Specific tasks are noted below:


Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides input and analysis related to the Company’s budget plan and interim forecasts. 
  • Supports the treasury function of the company. 
  • Reviews Fixed costs budget and enters adjustments into the ERP.
  • Meets with department heads on actual vs budget spend. 
  • Performs analytical review of P&L and balance sheet items and provides analysis monthly. 
  • Reconciles the inventory accounts in NetSuite to inventory on-hand at 3PLS’s. 
  • Backup for setting up inventory items in NetSuite. 
  • Manages payment process with specific duties to approve the ACH batch payments. 
  • Looks for Process Improvements within the Treasury function. 
  • Reviews contracts to ensure that they fall within budget. 
  • Reviews Commissions monthly to ensure that the amount paid is accurate. 
  • Uploads budgets into NetSuite. 
  • Reviews AP payments before release. 
  • Manages the fraud tools used within the company. 
  • Updates bill approvers and manages the delegation of authority based on department. 
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of a combination of Accounting or FP&A experience. 
  • General knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills. 

Preferred Skills:

  • CPA and master’s degree preferred but not required. 
  • Public Accounting Experience preferred but not required. 
  • NetSuite Experience. 
  • Great communications skills. 
  • Management experience.
