The Level 2 Industrial Maintenance Technician will contribute to the alignment of the Maintenance Organization with our Core Purpose. Focusing on supporting daily operations by eliminating machine breakdowns and building capabilities in maintenance processes and associate skill sets. The process will evolve around moving from Reactive to Planned maintenance through the activity of building and continuously improving maintenance behaviors and systems that are aligned with our CI culture.
Working under limited supervision, the Level 2 Maintenance Technician maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. This position is responsible for performing skilled work in the following areas: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, boiler, wastewater and general maintenance of equipment/structures and resolving emergency situations by taking appropriate corrective action and completing the repairs needed to ensure that systems are operational and are functioning safely and efficiently.
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Remove and replace defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools.
Adjusts functional parts or devices and determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Controls downtime by informing production associates of routine preventive maintenance.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Carries out diverse skilled activities involving the repair and maintenance of equipment and facilities; Assists and engages in thorough troubleshooting of diverse technical issues and tasks.
Maintains technical knowledge by accomplishing Dupont Level 2 & 3 Technician Training.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains records and reports as appropriate
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or guide up to 50 pounds individually or more than 50 pounds with assistance.
Required Credentials:
Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 4 to 8 years of industrial maintenance experience or the equivalent.

Must have a working knowledge of AC and DC circuits with the ability to work on voltages ranging from 5 Volt DC to 480 Volt AC
Must possess the knowledge to operate basic computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as work with a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
Required to provide own set of tools.
Must have a valid driver license.
