California Faucets is looking to bring on a talented Draftsman to work with our Engineering Team. This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA facility. This is not a remote position.  


The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.


The Draftsman position is responsible for the following areas of responsibility:

  • Use CAD system to design 3D detailed components
  • Create multi-level 3D assemblies
  • Create detailed components and assemble 2D print drawings
  • Use personal background/knowledge to contribute to product development
  • Develop and modify designs based on project requirements. 
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet specifications and standards. 
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation. 
  • Assist in the development of new products and improvements to existing products. 
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings and documentation. 
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions. 
  • Work cross-functionally with Quality, Purchasing, Continuous Improvement, and Manufacturing teams. 
  • Process Engineering Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders (ECR/ECO) 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:


· Associate's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field or related experience. 

· Minimum 3 years of experience in SolidWorks or other CAD software.

· Experience with SolidWorks PDM, document platform experience is a plus.

· Strong understanding of mechanical design and drafting principles. 

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal. 

· Experience with manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.

Salary Description
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour
