- Assists in writing new procedures and processes based on regulatory requirements
- Conducts internal audits
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys
- Conduct vendor evaluations
- Reply to customer inquires and surveys
- Revise, update and control Quality Assurance Manuals
- Notify and get approval of revised manuals from proper authorities
- Maintain corrective action records
- Maintain customer audit records
- Conduct internal customer surveys
- Organize internal communication meetings and keep records
- Complete FAI's and PPA's as required
- Conduct first article inspections as required
- Monitor engineering changes and incorporation of changes
- Assist QA Manager in day to day administration of QA department
- Help inspection in the plant when and where necessary
- Qualify as a DMIR, certificated Repairman and issue 8130-3 tags as required
- Update and maintain repair station roster, manual and quality manual
- Perform repair work (under FAA guidelines) as required.
Associates degree or similar experience; 3 year or more experience in Quality Assurance, auditing experience, familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines. 3 years or more experience with quality control methods and techniques. This experience must demonstrate the applicant's ability to determine that products conform to approved design and are in condition for safe operation.
The pay for this position starts at a minimum of $28.57/hr. when the minimum job requirements are met and goes up based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications in a similar role. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance.
