We are actively looking for an A&D Specialist that will create a unique partnership between our sales team and the A&D community. By firmly embedding oneself with local A&D firms, we gain unique perspectives regarding how Corporate Interiors can best deliver for these important partners and their customers.
The Architecture and Design Specialist is responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing Corporate Interiors/ brands sales throughout the assigned territory. This person is expected to provide a superior standard of service that influences their specifications and prioritizes the path to purchase for continued growth while building meaningful relationships. This position must be able to present, tour, travel, provide recommendations, suggest alternatives and provide competitive analysis, and facilitate market research on back to work and market trends.

- Sell Corporate Interiors’ brands by educating and representing these brands and products to cultivate and leverage relationships.
- Prospect and conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person events to generate new business relationships as you grow existing relationships.
- Plan and schedule sales calls with commercial architects and interior designers through product knowledge presentations, CEUs, library updates, and project meetings
- As the SME (Subject Matter Expert); coach, mentor, and support associates on your team on best practices.
- Actively use all social media channels Corporate Interiors participates in to promote the brand and product.
- Collaborate with other team members whose business partners can influence the specifications of designers and architects to collect and update Commercial project information.
- Accurately collect and update customer information through the company CRM.
- Maintain a high level of business, financial, and industry expertise so you can advise clients and partners effectively in ways that benefit both their business and Corporate Interiors.
- Network and drive sales, actively participate in related industry associations.
- Be available to meet with customers sometimes outside regular business hours.
- Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans to direct efforts and calibrate progress with your Workplace Consultant team members.
- Identify and participate in appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition.
- Actively participate in related industry associations, such as ASID, AIA and IDS through attending events and joining advisory councils and boards to develop relationships and increase awareness of the Corporate Interiors/ brands.
- Sales experience in the (B2B) commercial architectural and design industry in the Greater Philadelphia Region (including commercial specification and a book of business/portfolio) is required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business to business (B2B) sales; with at least 2 years in the commercial architectural and design field
- Strong business knowledge and financial acumen
- Proven track record of being customer-focused with a professional demeanor
- Ability to build strong professional relationships and proven track records in sales
- Solid organizational and follow-up skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites of software and CRM preferred.
Travel
Travel to client locations (especially in the Greater Philadelphia area) is expected for this position. Attending evening work events is required as job duties demand. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and auto insurance with state minimum bodily injury liability limits is required for this position.
