The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Architect works closely with technical and business stakeholders, architects, and governance Centers of Excellence (CoE) to deliver scalable, ethical, and high-performance AI solutions that meet the highest standards across projects. This role requires a unique blend of strategic vision, technical expertise in AI, and hands-on experience with generative models, ensuring that AI initiatives drive business impact and align with organizational goals and policies. This position utilizes the latest AI technologies along with the team’s expertise in data engineering and data science, to unlock the big opportunities in risk management, drive efficiencies, and improve customer experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design and architect AI-powered solutions, integrating technologies such as Conversational AI, Agent Assist, Co-Pilot AI, and AI-driven knowledge.
· Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) demos, prototypes, and AI solution blueprints tailored to customer needs.
· Articulate and evangelize a technical vision for Enterprise Search and Knowledge Management leveraging AI and ML.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams to define and implement data-driven roadmaps with a focus on third party platform integrations.
· Evaluate and apply Responsible AI dimensions (bias, fairness, robustness explainability etc.) in AI uses cases and work on mitigating the identified risks. Designs risk and model validation plans with milestones and independent verification.
· Review vended and custom proposals to ensure feasibility, compliance with security protocols and regulatory standards, stack compatibility, and buy-vs-build economics.
· Optimize cloud workloads for cost, scalability, availability, governance, compliance, etc.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field required. Master’s Degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience required, including the following:
· Hands on experience in deploying scalable AI architectures with strong capabilities in maturity, risk assessment, and enterprise integration.
· Hands-on proficiency with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch, , NLP and AI model fine-turning. and, crafting and optimizing prompts for generative AI models.
· Experience in testing AI models and third-party solutions for responsible AI risks.
· Past work experience and demonstrable thought leadership in generative AI, deep learning applications and Responsible AI practices.
· Strong storytelling and presentation abilities to communicate complex technical concepts and insights to diverse non-technical stakeholders.
The following work experience is highly preferred:
· Hands-on experience in cloud contact center solutions, AI chatbot development, generative AI.
· Experience with Knowledge Graphs and semantic search technologies.
· Experience with AWS services such as Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, Bedrock LLM, along with AI/ML-based chatbot frameworks.
· Hands-on experience with common LLM libraries and infrastructure such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma etc.
· P&C Insurance or Financial services industry work experience, including regulatory knowledge, data governance, and AI governance.
