NFPA is looking to add a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to the team!

The Human Resources Business Partner will support the full cycle recruitment process, employee relations, talent management and development, and compensation programs and analysis (salary planning, job and market analysis, etc.) The HRBP will be responsible for developing programs and activities to engage and connect a fully dispersed workforce in supporting business, strategic, and operational goals. This role will also design approaches for evaluating and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.


PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Support Performance and Talent management and development, workforce and succession planning, career pathing, engagement and internal communications.

· Supports compensation related programs, requests, and analysis (salary planning, merit process, job and market analysis, etc.)

· Create and maintain job descriptions with associated market

· Lead full cycle recruitment process, including data, creating and maintaining job requisitions, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks, maintaining personnel records; attending job fairs, managing social media content for recruitment activity, draft offer letters, etc.

· Support Sr. HR Generalist in the onboarding process for new hires

· Handle employee relations matters to support Senior Human Resources Manager, utilizing consulting, coaching, counseling, and influencing sills.

· Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations with complete documentation.

· Conduct exit interviews, stay interviews, provide real time feedback and highlight any trends.

· Develop programs and activities to engage and connect a fully dispersed workforce in support of achievement of business, strategic and operational goals

· Design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction through targeted efforts/ interventions ( i.e. rewards and recognition, employee engagement, survey tools, internal communications)

· Support HRIS analytics/dashboards (Paylocity)

· Utilize predictive index or other behavioral based tools to support effective change

· Provide guidance on NFPA related policy as outlined in the Employee Handbook and in accordance with all laws, NFPA policies and procedures.

· Manages content in employee handbook at direction of Senior Manager, Human Resources

Requirements

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.

· 6-10 years of comprehensive HR experience in a global environment; prior experience as a business partner

· 5+ years solid experience with HRIS systems and survey tools

· Minimum of 3 + years of compensation and market analysis experience

· Solid understanding of multiple human resource subject areas, including full cycle recruitment, compensation practices, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws

· Expertise in implementing business and change programs and processes that yield positive results.

· Demonstrable track record as a strong partner to the business; experience in high-growth businesses and/or SaaS preferred

· Demonstrable knowledge of employment law, compliance, and policy development and implementation

· Excellent communication skills and ability to optimally communicate, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization

· Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Ability to facilitate meetings and training sessions

· Proven sensitivity to confidential materials/issues

· Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and responding to changing business conditions

Additional Qualifications:

· Experience with Predictive Index, or similar behavioral assessment tools

· Experience with Paylocity HRIS strongly preferred

· Familiarity with Payfactors or similar compensation management tools/systems

· PHR/SPHR/CCP and other professional certifications are desirable

· Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills

· Listening and organizational skills; ability to multitask

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet set deadlines

· Ability to work in a remote environment with limited supervision
