TITLE: Marketing Specialist II

DEPARTMENT: Marketing

PAY GRADE & FLSA: Grade 6, Exempt 


JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Specialist II is responsible for working with various stakeholders to develop, manage, and execute strategies and initiatives to support the bank’s various lines of business and organizational strategic goals.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Lead collaboration with various internal teams and department managers to develop and execute marketing strategies.

• Responsible to lead, grow, and execute all social media strategies to create channel-specific content, engage in relevant discussions/reviews, develop social promotions, and monitor/track monthly efforts.

• Help create content and materials for traditional advertising, digital displays, product and service collateral, direct mail, website, email, presentations, events, RFPs, and social media.

• Collaborate on creation of video content to tell our story, promotes our products and services, and enhances our brand to both internal and external audiences.

• Assist with ongoing compliance requirements for marketing efforts, regulatory signage and disclosures.

• Plan, execute, and oversee various employee, client, and community events.

• Review and maintain overall brand integrity across all marketing efforts and channels.

• Report ROI and key performance metrics to various stakeholders including marketing, president, leadership team, and department managers.

• Represent marketing on a variety of internal committees. 

• Provide guidance to other marketing team members including interns.

• Assist manager and bank presidents with special projects as assigned

• Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs.

• Complete all required training and comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements that are applicable to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications or related field preferred.

• In depth working knowledge and “hands on” experience as a social media subject matter expert to include the vision, strategy, and project management and deployment of content on a consistent basis.

• Graphic media design and knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools is strongly preferred. 

• Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Strong math skills, and ability to organize and analyze complex financial information.

• Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships.

• Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner.

• Must have flexible schedule and available to participate in activities that will be conducted in the evening and/or on weekends.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Duties are performed in a professional office environment.

• Ability to lift 5 to 50 lbs.

• Requires travel to other branch or client locations.
