Title: CORE Licensed Clinician / Full Time
Reports to: CORE Services Supervisor
Job Objectives:
The Community Oriented Recovery and Empowerment (CORE) Licensed Clinician provides person-centered, recovery-ori¬ented, mobile behavioral health services including individual and family psychotherapy and counseling to individuals throughout Orange County who have difficulty engaging in site-based programs, or who have not been previously engaged in services.
As a CORE Licensed Clinician, you play a crucial role in empowering individuals by delivering high-quality services throughout Orange County. This role assists individuals in improving their functional abilities to the greatest degree possible in settings where they live, work, learn, and socialize.
*Direct supervision of stated positions and oversight of stated programs are periodically re-evaluated and may change subject to the discretion of Executive Director.
Responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of up to 20 participants for Community Oriented Recovery Services (CORE) program Community Psychiatric Support and Treatment services which includes the following components:
- Person-Centered Assessment, Service Planning, Documentation, and Collaboration
- Individual and Family Psychotherapy and Counseling
- Integrated Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment
- Crisis Prevention
- Intensive Rehabilitation Counseling

Qualifications:
- Applicant must possess one of the following
- License in Social Work (LMSW, LCSW)
- License in Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)
- Licensed Psychologist
- Mental health counseling: 1 year
- Experience using Motivational Interviewing and trauma informed practices.
- Experience navigating an Electronic Health Record.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish / English) strongly preferred.
Terms of employment/benefits:
- Exempt.
- Forty (40) hours per week.
