Job Title: Food Services Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Food Services Assistant to join our team at a summer camp for kids with serious illnesses. The Food Services Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals to campers and staff as well as rentals and other activities hosted at camp, year round.. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary preparation and assisting chefs make nutritious meals.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to campers and staff

- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner

- Clean and maintain the kitchen and dining areas

- Assist in inventory management and ordering of food and supplies

- Follow all camp policies and procedures related to food service

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in food service preferred

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

- Must be willing to undergo a background check and provide references
