We’re looking for an enthusiastic new addition to our team in Plymouth, Minnesota as the Director of Organizational Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an organizational development strategy that is aligned with business priorities and supports the company’s rapid growth.
  • Recommend and lead initiatives to optimize employee performance, culture, engagement  and retention 
  • Partner with leadership to refine and evolve core leadership competencies based on company values.
  • Design and implement leadership development programs, including coaching,  mentoring, and skill-building workshops.
  • Design and implement talent review and succession planning and development processes to build a leadership pipeline. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including survey design, administration, data analysis, and follow-up action planning.
  • Develop  strategies to enhance employee experience, engagement, and retention.
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement change management strategies including communication plans for key organizational initiatives.
  • Design and oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Coach managers on effective performance management practices and provide tools and training to managers to enhance their ability to lead and develop their teams effectively.
  • Provide  regular updates to senior leadership on progress and outcomes of OD initiatives using data-driven insights.
  • Lead a team of HR team members dedicated to training, learning and development, and employee relations. 
  • Lead the employee relations function, focused on building strong relationships,  coaching managers, and fostering a positive workplace culture. 
  • Guide employee relations staff in proactively addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts and preventing issues before escalation. 
  • Provide strategic guidance to employee relations staff on complex employee issues.
Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology,  Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in organizational development, talent management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing OD strategies that drive measurable results.
  • Experience  in leadership development, succession planning, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Strong background in partnering with senior leaders and influencing organizational culture.

Skills:

  • Expertise in change management principles and practices.
  • Strong understanding of leadership competencies, performance management, and talent development.
  • Ability to take initiative, think creatively, and drive progress in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
  • Comfortable  with ambiguity and finding solutions to complex challenges without waiting  for perfect conditions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and influence across all levels of the  organization, including senior leadership and frontline employees.
  • Data-driven  mindset with the ability to analyze and report on organizational health metrics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think strategically while also executing operationally.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-changing environment balancing competing priorities with a focus on progress and innovation.

Pay Range:

$133,700 - $179,400
