Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson is currently accepting applications for the Resource Development Associate to support organizational fundraising initiatives. The Resource Development Associate plays a critical role in advancing the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson by supporting the organization’s fundraising and development initiatives through CRM database management (DonorPerfect), corporate partnership cultivation, and special event coordination and support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Assist in the development and execution of annual fundraising campaigns and appeals.
- Provide database support for the Resource Development team.
- Track donor engagement metrics and assist in developing strategies to improve donor retention and acquisition.
- Maintain and update the DonorPerfect database to ensure accurate donor records.
- Process and acknowledge donations, sponsorships, and pledges promptly.
- Generate donor reports, mailing lists, and analysis to support development strategies.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and proposals for donors and stakeholders.
- Create, run, and analyze donor and fundraising reports to support development strategies.
- Ensure data integrity through regular audits and updates.
- Support the cultivation and stewardship of corporate partners by tracking partnership details and communications in DonorPerfect.
- Assist in identifying new corporate partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Resource Development team to draft sponsorship proposals and reports.
- Coordinate recognition and appreciation efforts for corporate donors and sponsors.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising and donor engagement events.
- Collaborate with the team to secure corporate sponsorships and in-kind donations for events.
- Manage event logistics, including registration, guest lists, and communication with vendors.
- Ensure accurate tracking of event revenue and expenses in DonorPerfect.
- Track donor engagement and provide insights to improve retention and acquisition efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising or resource development preferred
- Proficiency with DonorPerfect or similar CRM/donor database systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Work Environment:
- No unusual physical requirements. Nearly all work is performed in a comfortable indoor facility. Role may work remotely.
- Routine deadlines (usually sufficient lead time); variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; interruptions are common.
- Job frequently requires sitting, standing, walking, handling objects with hands, talking, hearing, typing and looking at a computer screen. Job occasionally requires reaching and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- While the Administration Team’s core operating hours are Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 7 PM; this position regularly works outside of these core hours, including evenings and weekends in support of organizational requirements.
