Description

The Front Desk Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the administrative functions of our summer camp. This includes maintaining camper records, delivering excellent customer service, handling camp logistics, and managing front-end communication with camp families.

Requirements
  • Maintain a customer service-focused attitude, interacting with campers, families, and staff with professionalism, respect, and kindness.
  • Proficiency with technology, including multi-platform devices such as PCs, Macs, and iPads, as well as Microsoft Office products and Google.
  • Provide office support to program staff and campers as needed, including tasks such as making copies, laminating, sourcing supplies, and calling camp parents.
  • Familiarize yourself with Camp CAK's programs, policies, and mission to respond accurately to general inquiries and questions from camp parents.
  • Manage early pick-up and late drop-off procedures, ensuring security protocols by verifying IDs.
  • Notify Camp Team Leads of early dismissal changes and other essential logistical documents to staff and instructors.
  • Monitor voicemails and phone calls, returning messages when necessary or forwarding them to the appropriate Director(s) or Camp Leader(s).
  • Communicate with the Camp Leader(s) regarding pick-up authorization changes and ensure all changes are updated on the attendance platform.
  • Physical and mental ability to respond appropriately in first aid situations. Must be capable of assisting campers during emergencies (fire, evacuation, illness, injury) and maintaining supervision of campers when necessary.
  • Model Christ-centered values in all interactions with volunteers, campers, and staff.
  • A love for the Lord; support the mission of CAK and possess a sincere desire to serve all those associated with CAK.
