Position: Student Ministry Director

The Student Ministry Director at the Santa Rosa Campus, under the guidance of the Student Ministries Pastor, will focus on cultivating meaningful relationships with students and adult leaders, with a strong emphasis on student connection and support. This role collaborates with key student ministry staff and volunteers to design and implement an engaging, impactful program that inspires students to love the Lord and share their faith with others. The ultimate goal is to ensure every student feels Known, Valued, and Connected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Student Ministries Pastor to develop and execute strategies to connect every Santa Rosa 6th–12th grade student into student ministries.
- Welcome and integrate new students into the ministry, implementing and maintaining a six-week follow-up plan for each new student.
- Ensure every student is personally known by an adult leader, facilitating connections between new students and adult leaders.
- Attend local school events and build relationships within the community to strengthen outreach efforts.
- Lead and empower adult volunteer teams for Wednesday evening and Sunday morning student connection initiatives.
- Develop and oversee a student leadership program, equipping students to grow and lead within the ministry.
- Lead and facilitate a student-led worship team, nurturing their spiritual and musical growth.
- Provide ongoing support and connection to current Bayside students on their school campuses.
- Participate in Global Bayside Student events, including Unleashed and Summer Camp.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Mexico trip follow-up strategy.
- Serve as part of the teaching team for High School and Middle School ministries.
- Facilitate and lead the Apex Summer Internship program, mentoring and equipping young leaders.
- Partner with the Bayside Kids team to ensure a smooth transition of students from kids’ ministry into student ministries.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by Bayside Leadership.
Assist High School Pastor
- Assist in the planning and execution of Summer Events.
- Assist with Programming and Teaching plan for all student programs.
