About the Role
Pathfinder Bank is seeking a strategic and experienced Corporate Treasurer to lead investment portfolio management, liquidity and cash management, capital management, asset-liability management, and funding strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for optimizing the Bank’s financial position while ensuring regulatory compliance and long-term stability.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Oversee corporate treasury operations, including cash management, investments, and credit.
- Develop and execute capital and funding strategies to optimize liquidity and growth.
- Analyze and recommend capital structure alternatives to maximize efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Evaluate borrowing capacity and manage debt financing, lender relationships, and financial transactions.
- Prepare materials and actively participate in Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings.
- Manage the Bank’s investment portfolio, including portfolio analysis, trade execution, credit evaluation, and broker oversight.
- Ensure the Bank’s daily liquidity needs are met by managing cash flow, security settlements, and borrowings.
- Develop and test liquidity contingency plans under various market conditions.
- Oversee interest rate risk management and collaborate with modeling teams on risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead and develop a team of up to three direct reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on treasury or portfolio management.
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations, including Basel III and U.S. regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in portfolio management, capital planning, and financial risk management.
- Deep understanding of monetary markets, investment strategies, and financing structures.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).

Salary Description
$115,000-$145,000/Year
