As a rapidly growing national company, Vital Records Control would be nothing without our sales team. Our successful and collaborative sales team is looking for new members with a strong understanding of the sales process, proposal creation, building internal as well as external relationships, and closing deals. As an inside sales and account manager, you act as the Area Business Development Manager. The ideal team member will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, the ability to showcase our offerings compellingly, be personable and professional. Objectives of this Role
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs;
- Create, build, grow and maintain a consistent pipeline with current clients and new leads through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas;
- Work and build both new and existing customer relationships by organizing the daily work schedule to actively manage incoming sales opportunities of existing or potential new sales throughout the assigned territory;
- Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques based on prospect and client interactions.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Receive incoming calls to develop and convert new shred service sales opportunities.
- Develop good business relationships with potential customers; work closely with the outside-shred sales team;
- Maintain working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities;
- Set appointments, timely follow up on leads, and create proposals as needed for all shred services offered;
- Possess in-depth shred-services product knowledge to be able to generate client interest and respond to client objections;
- Escalation and handling of customer service items as directed by sales leadership;
- Understand the needs of each sales lead and match them with the products or services offered by the company;
- Collaborate with internal partners to complete sales transactions when needed;
- Coordinate with other sales leadership and staff to ensure company quotas and standards are being met;
- Research, track, maintain and update leads and sales through the use of corporate CRM;
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of account management experience (inside sales experience, customer service, proposal development, and closing deals)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- A high level of personal integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to type at a proficient level
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, sales management and CRM software
