Description

Indian Rocks Christian School (IRCS) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Christian educator to teach science in our high school. The ideal candidate will have a heart for Christ-centered education and a commitment to teaching from a biblical worldview while inspiring students academically and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach science classes for high school students, fostering critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and a passion for scientific exploration through a biblical perspective.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum, academic standards, and a biblical worldview.
  • Integrate biblical principles into classroom instruction, discussions, and activities to encourage spiritual growth and character development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and administration to support student growth, academic achievement, and spiritual formation.
  • Actively participate in school events, professional development, and community activities as part of the IRCS team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Teaching certification from ACSI or the ability to obtain one
  • Experience teaching upper-level science courses to high school students in a classroom setting.
  • Strong commitment to Christian values, spiritual discipleship, and the mission of Indian Rocks Christian School.
  • A collaborative and supportive leader who exemplifies humility, drive, emotional intelligence, positivity, and unwavering loyalty to the IRCS vision and mission.
