We are looking for a skilled CADD Technician to assist with a variety of challenging transportation design projects. In this position, you will utilize your MicroStation skills to create detailed construction drawings, topographical profiles, maps, and other essential documents. You will play a crucial role in bringing Banner projects to life. We encourage you to apply if you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Entry-level candidates will be based in our Sioux Falls office, while experienced candidates may work from any of our locations in Aberdeen, Brookings, Milbank, Sioux Falls, or Vermillion.
Requirements
  • All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Associate of Applied Science degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.
  • Understanding of Design Flow: Conceptual Design – Design Development – Construction Documents – Bidding – Construction Administration.
  • Proficient with MicroStation, preferably Roadway Design (InRoads / OpenRoads)
  • Solid understanding of Construction.
  • Work within a Team environment.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work (traverse long distances, pound stakes, etc.). Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
