Foothills Regional Housing "FRH" is a prominent real estate developer, manager, and program administrator for affordable housing. FRH is currently looking for a Groundskeeper to perform landscaping tasks using power equipment and hand tools to maintain the facility’s grounds.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Mows lawns, trims weeds, and rakes leaves as assigned.
2. Picks up and removes trash prior to mowing a designated area.
3. Empties trash and recycling containers.
4. Trims bushes, shrubs, hedges, and Trees.
5. Prepares soil and plants flowers, bushes, hedges, or shrubs.
6. Plants trees and prunes them when necessary.
7. Clean and maintain Swimming Pools.
8. Test and repair sprinklers as needed.
9. Perform checks on light fixtures and repair or replace as needed.
10. Clean up pet waste and maintain Fido stations throughout properties.
11. Fire lane paint as needed.
12. Communicate with landscaping company as needed.
13. Completes snow removal tasks such as shoveling sidewalks, steps, and doorways as needed during winter months.
14. Operates snowblower or snowplow to clear roads, driveways, and parking lots.
15. Performs routine maintenance on power equipment.
16. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
- Extensive knowledge of landscaping techniques and processes.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must have a valid driver license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
PAY RANGE: $19.23 to $22.11 DOE

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Physical Demands: Must be able to work in all weather conditions, must be able to lift, stand with and carry up to 50lbs, ability to operate personal computers and office equipment; ability to observe documents and record and interpret information; ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange information in these situations.
- Work Environment: Works in a clean, comfortable environment in the office
- Equipment Used: Frequently uses standard office equipment including but not limited to personal computers, scanners, calculators, printers, telephones, fax, and copy machines.
