Job Summary

This position is a dual role position, performing various accounting responsibilities for Gemini Construction and Mall Business Services.   This position is full-time, but part-time would be considered as an option for the right candidate, with a minimum of 30 hours/week.


Responsibilities & Duties:


Gemini Construction

  • Manage Gemini Construction’s incoming invoices and process them through Avid, ensuring proper construction team      routing.
  • Process promptly all “Material Request Forms”  with accuracy and ensure the correct sales tax rate is being charged for the location the order is being delivered to. 
  • Obtain proper approval on all Purchase Orders and communicate the approved Purchase Order to the supplier.
  • Maintain the Accounting vendor files for COIs and W9s.
  • Mail weekly checks and email the Gemini team the weekly check run with the mail date notated.
  • Ensure timely processing of the monthly Lowes bill and ensure proper recording of purchases within the accounting      application.
  • Invoice construction projects and e-mail all Gemini billed invoices for reimbursement.

Mall Business Services

  • Enter approved Mall Business Service invoices and process them for payment weekly.
  • Record, track, and process Mall Business Service customer payments with accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records and track Mall Business Service equipment orders and deliveries.
  • Track and charge inventory to the correct location in Quick Books based on the last price paid. 
  • Follow up on delinquent customer accounts and advise the team regarding delinquent accounts so that appropriate      action can be taken.
  • Accurately record prorated and recurring billings for Mall Business Service customers.
  • Create and maintain MBS customer and vendor information within the accounting application.
  • Be an active participant in identifying and developing process improvements.


Requirements

 Qualifications

  • 2-3 years Accounting Experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team when appropriate.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.

***This position is onsite.  Must be within a commutable distance to Augusta, GA.
