Job Summary:

Mall Business Services (“MBS”) is a telecommunications company that delivers and manages fiber internet to commercial properties and national retailers nationwide. The Network / Sales Engineer role will be based in our Augusta, GA office. The job opportunity will encompass other aspects from the standard “Systems Administrator or Architect”.

  Responsibilities and Duties:

· Maintain and oversee the mobilization of MBS Layer II managed network

· Assist with project management of new fiber builds to commercial properties and direct retailers

· Facilitate the delivery of internet services inside a new customer space

· Conduct and regulate inventory stocks

· Directly assist the current MBS support team as they respond to support inquiries through our internal ticketing system

· Continuously update MBS cable overlays and network schematics as well as identify any new MBS fiber buried from the right of  

  way across commercial properties

· Configure, test, and troubleshoot all network equipment coming in and out of the main Augusta, GA office

· Must be available to join the compensated weekend on-call rotation for service inquiries

Minimum requirements:

· H.S. diploma, or 3-4 years’ experience

· Understanding of cabling and equipment required for providing internet to commercial properties

· Able to read installation manuals, blueprints, schematics

· Willing to travel as needed.

· Possess a Valid Driver’s License.

· Capable of climbing and working off a ladder.

· Willing to learn and understand building construction drawings, electrical plans of as-builts, and new single-tenant development

  pads

· Familiar with ticketing and inventory systems.

· Understanding of Networking equipment and capable of the following network functions:

    - Configuring Wi-Fi routers, Managed APs & VOIP Phones.

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of low voltage and optical cabling technologies.

· Creating VLAN and network policies on network equipment.
