Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking an All Source Analyst – to conduct analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. 

The mission for USSPACECOM Space Intelligence Enterprise, provides timely and relevant intelligence by conducting warning, analysis, and assessment; executing integrated intelligence operations; and maintaining intelligence partnerships to employ space operations that preserve freedom of action in space, deter aggression, and enable global projection. 


Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements. 
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of analysis procedures (tradecraft), working knowledge of advanced analytic/analytic support techniques. 
  • Perform complex analysis and conduct analytic support tasks. 
  • Identify, proactively and solve issues with minimal supervisory guidance. 
  • Perform challenging and essential duties. 
  • Mentor less experienced or proficient analysts and leverage partnerships and professional networks to accomplish analytical support missions.

 

Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in Analysis is required, within the last (2) two years of relevant experience. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Desired) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) 
  • Must possess the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. 
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal is required. 
  • An understanding of data feeds & tools (Bodhi, Fade/Mist, Maven, Warpcore) is a plus. 

  

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Normal office environment. 


Travel

  • Up to 10% - Domestic Travel may be required as duties demand.
