Corporate Marketing Manager

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer


Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to lead and manage all marketing-related functions for the Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual and Green Tree Risk Partners brands in order to support corporate strategy and drive brand awareness, growth, and profitability.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage marketing efforts that drive company growth and profitability

2. Oversee all marketing functions and execution of outputs for the organization

3. Protect, manage, and grow the PLM and Green Tree Risk Partners brand names and brand recognition across the wood and insurance industries

4. Oversee producer management program to create mutually beneficial relationships with large brokers

5. Develop and adhere to annual marketing department budget

6. Create and manage annual department goals in accordance with company strategy

7. Develop and analyze strong marketing reports to influence department strategy

8. Manage internal and external relationships to maximize marketing effectiveness

9. Offer recommendations to senior leaders on corporate strategy

10. Develop key association relationships to support PLM strategy and recognition in the industry

11. Create a personal voice within the wood and broker industries to increase footprint and personal brand

12. Educate and advocate for corporate buy-in of the PLM brand 

13. Manage the usage and data outputs of PLM customer relationship management (CRM) database

14. Oversee the development and quality of CRM 

Requirements


Knowledge and Skills:

1. College Degree with a Marketing or Business Major.

2. 5-7 years of either Property/Casualty or Direct Marketing experience.

3. Fundamental understanding of Property/Casualty brokerage, advertising, customer service and sales.

4. Excellent organizational skills.

5. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation). 

6. Personal Computer literate (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

7. Must be a self-starter who can work in an unsupervised environment.

8. Demonstrated creativity and leadership skills.

9. Capable of producing work of the highest quality and a fundamental understanding of the concepts of a quality program.
