We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hands-On Maintenance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities within our facility, ensuring that equipment and systems are operating efficiently and safely. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, the ability to self-perform repairs as well as lead/build/develop a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment and systems within the facility.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ability to flex schedule to work nights or weekends as needed during breakdowns and shutdowns.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and effective maintenance support.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and manage maintenance budgets and expenses. Develop and execute department goals supporting Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) objectives, including the development and implementation of strategies, processes and programs.
- Measures and reports on performance and holds team accountable for achieving goals.
- Responsible for assistance and oversight in maintaining yearly maintenance budget.
- Responsible for reporting food safety, quality and regulatory compliance to plant or division personnel with authority to initiate action.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS) and tools
- Ability to partner with vendors and outside contractors.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a food and beverage facility or similar environment. At least 3 of those years should be in a leadership/supervisory position.
