Job Summary:


The Provider Recruiter collaborates with JVCHC leadership to identify recruitment goals, understand clinic needs, initiate onboarding processes for Providers and participate in transition planning for Provider off boarding. The Provider Recruiter is primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to target and recruit Providers. The position will carry out a variety of marketing and other administrative tasks while providing high quality customer service to hiring managers to assure the team’s accomplishment of recruitment goals.


 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for Provider recruitment to include Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health Providers.
  • Develops and coordinates a comprehensive Provider recruitment program to ensure appropriate Provider staffing in accordance with needs and goals of Jordan Valley; achieves identified targets.
  • Recommends and utilizes search software and databases and other appropriate recruitment resources.
  • Markets Jordan Valley Provider employment opportunities and promotes Jordan Valley as an employer of choice to include social media, publications, job boards, conferences, recruitment fairs, direct mail, etc.; matches providers with Jordan Valley vision, values, and mission.
  • Develops relationships with regional Provider schools and residency programs to connect with new provider workforce.
  • Communicates with internal stakeholders, as well as with candidates, residency program coordinators and program directors, and advanced practitioner’s programs; including presentations to these programs.
  • Conducts market studies regarding Provider employment trends and shares with administration; assists with identifying and developing appropriate support packages for potential Provider candidates.
  • Meets directly with Provider candidates for welcome meetings; facilitates clinic and community tours and coordinates interview schedules.
  • Upon candidate selection, prepares contract offers as directed for presentation to Providers utilizing an approved organizational template; maintains and monitors contract records.
  • Acts as a liaison to connect newly relocated Providers to community and transition resources.
  • Assists in the management of the recruitment budget including but not limited to credit card reconciliation
  • Up to 25% travel may be required for on-the-job responsibilities; travel demand will vary with season.

Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school with study in marketing, public relations, human resources, or other business related field is preferred.
  • Two (2) years conducting physician recruitment is preferred.
