Bethesda Dental Associates, a high-production, patient-focused practice, is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM). No weekends.
- Hourly Rate: starting at $26 per hour, based on experience
- Work Location: In-person – Bethesda, MD

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, patient-focused professional with strong technical skills and a team-player mindset. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, clinical efficiency, and optimal dental care
Experience: At least two years as a Dental Assistant.
- Expanded Function Certification: Preferred but not required.
- X-ray Certified: Required.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in 4-handed dentistry.
- Proficiency in digital X-rays and Itero scanning (preferred).
- Skilled in taking impressions and temporary crown preparation.
- Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, assist providers efficiently, and ensure a smooth patient flow.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Willingness to collaborate with staff and contribute to a positive office culture.
- Patient Care & Education: Passion for educating patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-op care.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist the Dentist During Procedures: Provide 4-handed chairside assistance to ensure efficiency and quality care.
- Prepare & Educate Patients: Ensure patients are comfortable, informed, and ready for treatment.
- Sterilize & Maintain Equipment: Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean workspace.
- Take & Develop X-rays: Perform digital imaging and X-ray processing.
- Manage Clinical Supplies: Ensure the clinic is well-stocked and organized for seamless operations.
- Support Patient Education: Help patients understand their treatment plans, post-op care, and oral hygiene best practices.
