Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is now hiring System Administrator II to support the customer and shall provide system administration services to the Government for both physical and virtual hosted applications. You will provide all services necessary to ensure the efficient operation of all physical and virtual servers. You will support Government requirements to maintain data center computing, storage, and networking capabilities at Government data centers and within associated commercial cloud environments.
We are seeking a System Administrator II that will be part of an energetic, results-driven team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the need for advanced analytical, troubleshooting, and design skills.
Responsibilities to included but limited to:
- Communicate with technical and non-technical users is also essential
- Supervises and manages the daily activities of configuration and operation of business systems which may be mainframe, mini, or client/server based
- Optimizes system operation and resource utilization and performs system capacity analysis and planning
- Provides assistance to users in accessing and using business systems
- System Administrators must have a position designation of IT-1, which requires the following in accordance with SECNAVINST M-5510.30 and DODINST 8500.2
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components.
- Performing installation, maintenance, and support of system software and hardware
- Performing user support.
- Configuring, debugging, and supporting multiple infrastructure platforms.
- Performing high-level root cause analysis in support of service interruption recovery, as well as creating and documenting preventive measures.
- Working as a strong team contributor and providing technical expertise.
- Staying abreast of emerging trends in information technology and helping shape the work for the Government.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Azure DevOps, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) product management principles should be used to develop and deploy capabilities.
- Working with the Government to understand their requirements and evaluate possible technical solutions.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE PREFERRED
- 4 TO 8 YEARS OF EXPERIANCE
- ** Must meet IAT (Information Assurance Technical) Level II certification criteria specified in DoD 8570.01-M
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Candidate must have active Secret Clearance
