About the Role
DOXA is looking for a Director of Total Rewards to lead the charge in crafting and delivering a total rewards strategy that fuels our business priorities: creating an exceptional employee experience, driving operational excellence, and achieving sustainable growth. You’ll design and implement competitive, innovative programs for benefits, compensation, incentives, and wellness that attract, motivate, and keep top talent thriving.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building and evolving programs, enjoys tackling unique challenges, and finds energy in navigating complexities to create impactful solutions. It’s a chance to bring your adaptability, sharp execution skills, and collaborative spirit to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference, let’s get started!
What You’ll Do
- Design Benefits Employees Love: Lead the way in crafting and managing competitive benefits programs like health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives that bring real value to employees while keeping us competitive in the market.
- Shape a Winning Compensation Strategy: Build and manage compensation plans (including base salary, incentives, long-term equity, and variable pay) that align with our business goals. You'll keep a pulse on the market to ensure our programs stay ahead of the curve.
- Oversee Payroll & HR Tech: Keep payroll running smoothly and in compliance with labor laws, while finding ways to make processes faster and smarter with the right technology. Own our HRIS system, making sure it supports rewards programs and stays seamless through mergers and acquisitions.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Help the People & Culture team work smarter by refining rewards processes, strengthening data accuracy, and using technology to make decisions and scale effectively. Stay on top of legal and regulatory requirements to keep us in compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field is great to have.
- Experience: You’ve got 10+ years under your belt in compensation, benefits, and total rewards - bonus points if you’ve worked with private equity-backed companies.
- Skills That Set You Apart:
- Deep expertise in benefits and compensation strategy, salary structure development, and program management.
- Hands-on experience managing payroll with a strong grasp of compliance (think FLSA, ACA, ERISA, etc.).
- A track record of creating programs that employees genuinely value.
- Experience with HRIS system design and optimization - familiarity with Paylocity is a big plus.
- The ability to influence and partner with executives and key stakeholders.
- Travel: Occasional travel (up to 10%) depending on where you're based.
This role is all about making sure our total rewards programs not only support our employees but also drive our business forward. Have the experience and ready to make an impact? Apply today!
