Lavelle provides student interns with a fast-paced team environment and the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of engineering, quality, manufacturing and operations. • Is a self-starter who is comfortable performing multi-functional tasks while achieving desired results; someone who isn't afraid to deal with challenges
• Possesses a strong work ethic that is a unique blend of hustle, process capability and problem-solving skills
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field of study

Outcomes will include:

• Lead and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Support other engineers and improvement initiatives.
• Participate and support facility layout projects, press installations and rearranges.
• Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance as needed.
• Perform data collection and processing as required.
• Create and/or modify documentation and training materials as needed
• Participate in and support Kaizens and Continuous Improvement events. 
• Support new product launches.
• Document machine and tooling improvements in Solid Works files.
