Overview 

 We are looking for a dynamic and results oriented Sales and Service Area Manager with an agriculture / dairy background to join our team! The Sales and Service Area Manager plays a key role in driving the success of a defined geographical region and is responsible for all Sales & Service activities and staff. This role is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers and sales team members. Additionally, this position will oversee the field service department within the region to execute new customer installation and service calls, ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

 Duties 

  • Oversee      all Sales & Service activities and staff within the region.
  • Develop      and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Guide      the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build      and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Manage      a team of sales and service professionals.
  • Provide      guidance and support to the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Coordinate      with Regional Operations Managers for product deliveries, equipment and      chemical forecast/purchasing, and additional regional support activities.
  • Coordinate      with the Commercial Strategy & Innovation for Regional Customer needs      and projects.
  • Organize      and lead team training and development activities.
  • Oversee      the service department to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Monitor      customer satisfaction levels and implement strategies to improve.
  • Collaborate      with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prepare      sales reports and presentations for management.
  • Other      duties and responsibilities may be assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications 

  • Proven      leadership experience in a managerial role, preferably in a multi-state      environment.
  • Strong      skills in business development, with a focus on achieving measurable      results.
  • Demonstrated      ability in process improvement methodologies and strategic planning.
  • Excellent      supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Experience      in collaboration with sales teams to enhance business opportunities. 
  • Exceptional      communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships      at all levels.

Salary Description
$140,000.00 - $160,000.00
