Soles Electric is seeking a talented Route Sales Driver to join their team in Huntington, WV!
This Route Sales & Account Management position will report directly to the Huntington shop superintendent and is responsible for picking up and delivering products to regular customers over an established route. This person will also generate additional sales by engaging and overseeing all aspects of customer service when delivering to customer sites. The right candidate must be comfortable in industrial settings and understand safety obligations.
A company vehicle will be provided for sales calls and any required pick-up and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Drive established local routes to pick up & deliver products and visit customer sites
- Establish positive working relationships with primary contact at each account
- Enhance product and service visibility through relationships
- Coordinate with Shop Superintendent to manage routes and customer interactions, ensuring a high level of service
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to share insights and best practices
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends if needed
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and in proper working condition
- 2-5 years of Route Sales experience preferred
- Must have a Class D license
- CDL or willingness to obtain a CDL is strongly preferred
- Operating trucks requiring a CDL (e.g., performing basic functions like driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces, etc.)
