Description

As our Earthwork Superintendent, you’ll oversee our projects from start to finish, directing foremen and crews along the way. You will draw from a well of specialized knowledge to execute projects within your area of expertise. Finally, we expect you to protect company interests and live out our values.


Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the General Superintendent to:
    • Prepare for project initiation, convey your crews’ progress, adhere to project estimates, and proactively share information about unscoped time or materials.
  • Execute activities as required to meet daily and overall objectives.
  • Understand and apply project specifications regarding quality control procedures.
    • Interpret documents involving testing, drawings, materials approvals, samples, mockups, and execution.
  • Keep projects on schedule by supervising personnel placement and hours.
  • Oversee the completion of warranty issues.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment furnished by the company and its subcontractors.
  • Direct and train field staff, promoting their professional development through evaluations, varying assignments, and positive morale.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of materials, methods, maintenance, and equipment operation.
  • Effective communication: understand directives and interface with management or coworkers.
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
