In search of a High School Senior or recently graduated High School Student to complete a two (2) year training program in the areas of basic, intermediate and advanced transit bus maintenance under supervision of mentors/mechanics.  Develop skills in the operation, maintenance, inspection and repair of vehicles and buses. Performs work safely; follows safety work rules, guidelines and procedures.  Apprentice is expected to progress through training and complete the program to gain the knowledge to move to the next step of Journeyman Mechanic.

High School Diploma or equivalent, plus basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic theory. Valid Ohio Driver's License with no more than two (2) points at the time of hire.  Previous employment verification and criminal background investigation.
