Are you an entrepreneurial-minded, innovative sales leader with deep expertise in corporate relocation and global mobility? Odyssey Relocation Management is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Director, Business Development, to drive new client acquisition and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will partner closely with our VP, Sales & Marketing to develop long-term relationships with corporate clients, ensuring that our mobility solutions align with their evolving needs.

  

What You’ll Do 

  • Drive New Business Development: Identify, cultivate, and secure long-term client partnerships that align with Odyssey’s vision and values.
  • Lead the Sales Cycle: Manage end-to-end sales processes — from initial discovery calls and solution development through contract negotiations and implementation — ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Build a Robust Pipeline: Actively prospect new accounts via networking, cold-calling, industry events, trade shows, and targeted email campaigns.
  • Tailor Client Solutions: Engage with Human Resources and senior decision-makers to understand client challenges, leveraging your industry expertise to present customized solutions.
  • Collaborate Internally: Coordinate with internal teams to develop compelling RFI/RFP responses, build sales presentations, and ensure smooth handoffs during client onboarding.
  • Market Presence: Represent Odyssey at industry events, thought leadership forums, and conventions, enhancing our brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide ongoing feedback from client interactions to refine and enhance our service offerings and customer experience.
  • Safeguard Customer Information: Follow company policies on data access, handling, and storage while ensuring compliancy with other relevant data privacy regulations. Collecting only necessary data, securely storing sensitive information, and exercising caution when sharing to prevent breaches and maintain client trust.


Key Metrics Measured:

  • New business revenue production and some profitability analysis
  • Key business development activity metrics
  • Client program performance, Client satisfaction and Client retention


Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position in the U.S. starts at $100,000 annually and may vary based on job-related skills, experience, and work location. This role may also be eligible for bonuses, commissions, benefits, and other incentives. While the listed salary range represents the minimum and maximum for new hires across all U.S. locations, the final offer will be determined by multiple factors.

Requirements

  

Who Are You - Experience and Skills needed for Success:

  • Experienced & Results-Driven: You bring at least 5 years of proven success in sales within the corporate relocation industry, with a track record of exceeding sales targets. Experience selling into senior levels at large enterprises.
  • Strategic Thinker: You have a solid understanding of domestic and global mobility trends, competitive landscapes, and the challenges faced by corporate clients. High level of accuracy and process orientation required.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to influence senior leaders and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborative Leader: You excel in coordinating with internal stakeholders to create solutions that align with customer needs and drive business growth.
  • Process-Oriented: You value accuracy and analytical rigor, ensuring a high level of process orientation in all your endeavors.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to develop customized, solution-based presentations are essential.
  • Preferred Credentials: CRP and GMS designations and strong corporate client references will set you apart.

Salary Description
Starting at $100,000 pending experience & location
