Reporting directly to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, the DevOps Engineer role is crucial in supporting nimble's Infrastructure and Operations Team, focusing on automation, deployment efficiency, and system reliability. This position will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure while ensuring the highest levels of system availability for our customers. Experience supporting infrastructure from multiple clouds and RCM exposure is highly preferred.


On a typical day, here's what you'll be working on:


Infrastructure Automation:

  • Design and implement automated deployment pipelines targeting 80% automation
  • Maintain and optimize Infrastructure as Code solutions
  • Develop and maintain scripts for routine operational tasks
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions

Cloud Resource Management:

  • Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources
  • Monitor resource utilization and implement cost optimization strategies
  • Maintain security configurations and compliance requirements
  • Support disaster recovery and business continuity measures

 

Deployment and Support:

  • Execute and monitor production deployments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support
  • Maintain system stability within defined SLA targets

Collaboration and Documentation:

  • Work closely with development teams to optimize deployment processes
  • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members
Requirements

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar technical role
  • Strong background in Azure cloud services and infrastructure management
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
  • Strong scripting abilities in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Experience with containerization technologies
  • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements preferred
