The Operations Manager will mentor and direct the operational activities for assigned location action.
Reports to Branch General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the day-to-day activities for assigned office by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies
- Implement programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit
- Provide direction and structure for operating units
- Manages and develops new business opportunities and strategies
- Travels to meet with prospective clients, customers, local service centers and attend company meetings, as required
- Develop and train staff
- Work as part of an emergency response team
- Oversee major projects to ensure that the work is performed in accordance with company and customer requirements and expectations
- Oversee various environmental field tasks, data collection, data analysis, sampling and report writing
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Computer Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Office products and some ability to adapt to other computer software.
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS
- 7-10 years performing all aspects of Emergency Spill Response preferred
- Proven track record in the management of company operations and quality assurance
- Spill mitigation experience and chemical knowledge
- HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications
- CDL License preferred
- TWIC Card preferred.
- Knowledge of petroleum products and hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals
PHYSICAL/ MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times. The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds. Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders. May occasionally deal with heights. Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees and managers. Effective conflict resolution abilities. Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form. Ability to read, write and do mathematics. Ability to wear Personal Equipment, including Respiratory Protection. Consist of both office setting and physical jobsite. Able to work in confined spaces when needed. • Ability to work in or around extreme temperatures.
