Desk Investigator

Description

Becker & Company is seeking a dedicated Desk Investigator to join our team. This role involves a variety of administrative and in-house investigative duties, focusing on national insurance claim assignments. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting online and phone research, completing background investigations, social media and pre-surveillance reports, and verifying information through telephone canvassing.

Responsibilities:

  •  Conduct online research to complete background investigations.
  •  Prepare social media and pre-surveillance reports.
  •  Canvass businesses and various departments via telephone to establish and verify information.
  •  Assist in obtaining online documents and public reports.
  •  Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information for investigations.
  •  Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
Requirements
  •  Attention to detail
  •  Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  •  Expertise with online research
  •  Excellent oral and written communications skills
  •  Strong report writing skills 
  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  •  Deadline-oriented with effective time management skills
