ENVE Composites is actively seeking to hire two (2) manufacturing engineers to help drive process improvements and productivity on our production floor. If you are an action-oriented self-starter that thrives in a collaborative environment, ENVE could be ideal for you.


Located in Ogden, Utah, ENVE Composites is a manufacturer of handmade carbon fiber bicycle rims, components, and bikes. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and limited supervision to meet deadlines. This person possesses a strong mechanical aptitude and above average communication skills to work well with the entire ENVE team, from the production floor to the Engineering team. You are analytical, possess attention to detail and demonstrate leadership to see projects through to completion. 


Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:


  • Driving continuous improvement.
  • Establishing tactical plans and providing return on investment.
  • Developing manufacturing processes for new product introduction, as well as evaluating & refining current manufacturing processes for improvements.
  • Addressing technical issues through problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
Requirements

Requirements and skills

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related engineering field required.

Experience in a manufacturing environment; composites manufacturing preferred; carbon fiber a plus.

Expert MS office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with the ability to learn new applications quickly.

Knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and high-standard technical documentation.

Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
