Wade Clark Mulcahy LLP, a dynamic and collaborative law firm, is seeking a full-time Paralegal/Litigation Assistant to support our busy insurance defense practice in our Springfield, New Jersey office.


Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic case files
  • Prepare correspondence, legal pleadings, and court filings
  • File documents electronically with state and federal courts
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors
  • Scan, upload, and manage case-related documents
  • Assist with calendaring, data entry, and other administrative support functions
  • Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Insurance defense litigation experience is a plus

Work Arrangement


This position follows a hybrid schedule. During the first 90 days of employment, the role is fully in-office to facilitate training and integration with the team. After successful completion of the introductory period, employees are eligible to work remotely up to two days per week.
