MLG Capital was founded in 1987 on the core principles of “Making a Difference, While Making a Living”, “Absolute Integrity” and maximizing client and partner wealth through meticulously executed real estate investment strategies. Today, MLG Capital operates as a series of private real estate funds that are formed to acquire, through direct and joint venture acquisitions, a geographically diverse portfolio for accredited individual investors. Position Description: The Investment Analyst will work on a well-established real estate investment team with a 30-plus year history. Under direction of the Senior Associate, AVP, or VP, the Analyst will work to analyze, underwrite, and close real estate investments. The Analyst will perform the financial analysis and market research necessary to evaluate real estate investment opportunities across multiple asset classes. The individual will have the opportunity to present acquisition opportunities to management and partake in investment committee meetings. This individual will also assist in calling owners and brokers for market information, analyzing financials statements and rent rolls, compiling sales and rent comparables, and gathering submarket data on demographics and population.
Candidate Description: This individual must have exceptional attention to detail, experience in financial modeling (especially in discounted cash flow analysis) and will have strong financial analysis skills. Due to the relatively small size of the MLG Capital team this role will have significant exposure to Key Management, Principals and the CEO.
