Long Term-2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM Monday through Friday. $1.00 shift differential OT required during peak season.

Short Term-Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Monday through Thursday. $4.00 Shift Differential. Steady OT.


Come  join our team as a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR! The Production Supervisor is  responsible for a line of molding machines, secondary machinery, and  operating personnel. It is a hands-on position to demonstrate leadership  and production expertise.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve  as person in charge in the event of a facility alarm, safety incident,  personnel conflict, or other incident requiring leadership to resolve  during the shift
  • Oversee the production and inspection required in each machine to meet the production schedule
  • Oversee  and cover production line with breaks and lunch so all machines stay  operational by maintaining a set schedule for breaks and lunches
  • Adjust accordingly to changing situations and shift changes
  • Review and complete daily reports and all paperwork
  • Partner  with the quality, and maintenance departments to ensure problems with  quality, processes, equipment, or materials are resolved correctly in a  timely manner
  • Compliance with ISO 9001 standard and 5S Visual Workplace/Lean Manufacturing
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
  • Other duties as assigned by the Plant Director or Production Manager
  • Operate forklift as needed
  • Be accountable for decisions that impact production during shift
Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education and work experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Inventory experience and manufacturing experience a plus
  • Forklift Certification required (will certify, experience is a plus)
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Good mathematical skills a plus
  • Read, write and communicate in English with the ability to communicate well with all levels within the Company.
