We are seeking an  experienced Sr. Process Improvement Managerto lead and optimize our  injection molding operations across multiple facilities. This role  combines technical expertise with team leadership to ensure equipment  reliability, safety, and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will  spearhead process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste  through methodologies such as Kaizen, Standardized Work instructions,  and the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. The focus is on building a  sustainable culture of continuous improvement to achieve operational  excellence while managing a diverse team of personnel.

Your Day to Day

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead, train, and mentor maintenance and process technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize equipment.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of personnel across multiple facilities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and document scientific molding processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Analyze  production data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective  actions to optimize cycle times, reduce scrap rates, and improve overall  equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Organize and lead Kaizen events  and continuous improvement workshops to engage cross-functional teams in  problem-solving and waste elimination activities.
• Coordinate mold changes, tooling maintenance, and repair schedules to minimize downtime.
• Evaluate  and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance  manufacturing processes, including automation and energy-saving  initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.
• Develop  and enforce Standardized Work instructions across all production  processes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• Apply the PDCA cycle to structure process improvements and foster a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• Design  and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of  process improvement initiatives and identify areas for further  optimization.
• Implement and sustain 5S initiatives to create a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to address operational challenges and align on process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and parts to ensure timely availability.

What We Would Love About You

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Plastics, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in injection molding maintenance or process engineering.
• Proven leadership experience, with strong communication and training skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Demonstrated  experience in process improvement initiatives, including lean  manufacturing principles, Kaizen, Standardized Work instructions, and  PDCA methodologies.
• Forklift certification and familiarity with chilled water systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
