Position Overview
CCR Media (CCRM) builds and delivers innovative technology solutions and products for the media industry in the U.S. and across the globe. Our clients are some of the largest Media Measurement, Media Analytics and Consumer Electronics companies in the world. We are searching for a highly motivated, dedicated, and experienced Director of Technical Operations (TechOps) to manage a team of engineers, network administrators and system administrators in building, maintaining and improving CCRM’s technology infrastructure.
This role requires deep technical and leadership skills to oversee and ensure the reliability and performance of the CCRM network, compute, storage, data and custom development infrastructure & software platforms. Responsibilities include strategic leadership, team management, optimization of network performance, hardware tracking and refresh planning, site reliability and optimization engineering, implementing automation and ensuring adherence to security best practices. It will also require budget setting & management, vendor management, and driving continuous operational improvements.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network engineers, systems engineers, system administrators, automation developers and SDLC engineers, ensuring high performance and organizational excellence
- Set strategic direction and drive execution of CCRM technology investments, upgrades, and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to scale network, compute, and storage systems, supporting growth and new product introductions.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale, world-class alerting and monitoring systems.
- Define, implement, and enforce technical standards and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across infrastructure, and automation
- Collaborate with network and hardware vendors, negotiate SLAs, and manage vendor performance
- Manage multiple projects effectively, balancing priorities and deadlines while ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity and product quality
- Stay current with emerging technologies, architectures, and best practices while evaluating new tools that could improve the quality of CCRM products and operations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and monitoring standards, ensuring consistency and facilitating efficient problem resolution
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by prioritizing their needs and delivering reliable solutions
- Proactively solve problems and optimize processes through creative and strategic thinking
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and commitment by consistently following company values and expectations

Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in network protocols, Linux systems engineering and virtualization
- Experience with automation for configuration management, deployment and testing
- Proven ability to define, maintain, and enforce technical standards across infrastructure, automation, and software development.
- Experience implementing CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Proven experience managing large-scale networks, computing infrastructure, and media systems to ensure performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Experience leading technical discussions with stakeholders and guiding team decisions on architecture, technology choices, and best practices
- Deep familiarity with Gitlab and common source control workflows
- Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and algorithms
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers and other technology professionals; conducting design reviews, technical training, giving feedback and career development support
