Description
UTGC is currently hiring for Line cooks to join our hospitality team and deliver a first-class culinary experience to our members at our restaurant in the Steiner Ranch Area. In addition to competitive pay and we offer the following benefits:

This full-time culinary position works a flexible schedule of 7- to 8-hour shifts that include weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Please note this position is NOT located on UT Campus, it is in Steiner Ranch (near the Oasis area)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3+ years of cooking experience
- Ability to perform all basic and intermediate cooking tasks
- Ability to work multiple stations in the kitchen
- Cleans food preparation areas as determined by management team
- Prepares foods to the specifications of the management team to include, but not limited to:
- Following recipes
- Cooking temperatures
- Ticket time standards
- Correct food storage methods
- Plating standards
- Operates various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer safely and as shown by management team
- Assists other cooks during scheduled shift where needed
- Follow all health department standards
- Follows all instructions given by management team in timely manner
