Our reputable dealership in Broward County is seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our automotive dealership's sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in automotive sales management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry. As the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, developing, and implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Motivate, coach, and mentor sales staff to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the sales department.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the automotive industry.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated business strategies.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and evaluate sales team performance against set targets.
  • Implement corrective actions and training programs to enhance individual and team capabilities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Uphold a commitment to exceptional customer service by ensuring a positive and memorable buying experience.
  • Address customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to resolve issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

  • Collaborate with the inventory and finance teams to ensure optimal stocking levels and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor inventory turnover and recommend adjustments based on market demand.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in automotive sales and finance management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, market trends, and customer behavior.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Reynolds and Reynolds experience, a plus.
  • Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and communication.
  • Must be authorized for employment in the USA
