The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for executing HR strategies that support business objectives. This role is hands-on, covering all facets of HR, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with a deep understanding of HR best practices and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a culture of open communication.
  • Performance Management: Manage performance review processes, provide coaching, and support leadership in employee development.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Administer compensation, benefits, and leave programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining competitive offerings.
  • Compliance & Policies: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws. Maintain and update company policies, employee handbook, and HR procedures.
  • HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain accurate employee records, oversee HR software, and provide insights through HR metrics and reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience, preferably in a small to mid-sized company.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Willing to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in the office located in downtown Austin.
